Emerald Lake Night to Day Photography Workshop

$399 + fees per person.
Limited to 4 participants.
Join me for a photography workshop at Emerald Lake to work on your night photography skills and get more landscape photography experience. Emerald Lake is a fantastic location for night photography and works well for sunrise and sunset images. The lake is surrounded by mountains and dark skies. Emerald Lake Lodge is positioned perfectly for compositions with the Milky Way in May and helps light paint the scene without overpowering the stars. Of course the skies have to cooperated for us to see the Milky Way, but this location is ideal to work in almost any conditions.
The workshop will begin with the night shoot. We will work on focusing in the dark, composing, choosing settings, getting shots for blending, stacking and various other techniques. As we are shooting, planning tips will be providing and Monika will ensure everyone gets one-on-one help and critique.
Before the sunrise shoot, we’ll take a warm up break. During the sunrise shoot we will work with different compositions, filters if you have them, focus stacking, bracketing and so on.
Participants should have experience using their camera in manual mode, a tripod and an intervalometer, remote or timer for shutter release.
